This is new....

Wow! I'm getting worse and worse about this whole blogging thing. Not sure if anyone even checks it anymore. So thank you to the 2 of you who still read me blog. Here's a recap of Summer 2011 in completely random order as blogger seems to have changed since I used it last.

Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point

T-Rex!!

I finished my triathlon! 1hr. 46 min. 800 meter swim, 13 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. Hope to do better next time but was proud I finished along with my sister-in-law Tiffany (left) and my sister Carrie (right).
The swim was hard, but actually a lot of fun. Look for the pink swim cap. That's me!
I was proud I was able to finish the swim in 23 min. The whole time I was training I was informed that the swim was 1/4 mile, but 4 weeks before the triathlon I found out it was .5 mile!

Onion Days in Payson!

The boys loved the rides and Korver even dared to go on the rollercoaster, although I'm not sure he should have be let on the ride. :)

Cole first day of school for his second year of pre-school. - I told you the pix were in random order.
Fishing at Payson Lakes

We caught a lot of fish too which made it a lot of fun. I think just between Neil and I we caught 10.

This kid loves the lake and LOVES the dirt!

We went to jumping jacks early one morning and it was so cool. We had the entire place to ourselves for the first 1.5 hrs. It was awesome!!

We had a ward carnival with horse rides that the boys LOVED!

I think Korver remembers this ride vividly as whenever he sees a horse he says "horse... ride?" and the other day we got out of the car and you could smell horse manure and Korver says "horse... smell...horse." Smart kid.
Feeding the ducks at Salem Pond. I love this pond as the pictures are always so pretty!

Splash Pad - Spanish Fork

For Father's Day the boys made Neil a fishing bait box with fishing bait candy and added their own colorings and favorite things about their dad.
I surprised Neil with an ice cream fishing cake. Doesn't the guy look a lot like Neil? Haha... The cake had to be frozen hence the white frost.
It seems to be an annual tradition that my family comes down for a camp out in the backyard, and fishing and swimming in the canyon the next day.
Cole and Christy watching fireworks. This camp out was extra fun as my sister surprised us all and decided to visit from Boston for a few weeks. Thank you again Christy for coming. YOU SAVED ME!!!

My brother in the kayak at Payson Lakes.
And we went to our first demolition derby with my brother-in-law and niece. It was pretty cool and Cole loved it!

And we pretty much lived at the pool this summer. Whether it was Payson's pool or somewhere else.

Cole had swimming lessons for 2 weeks and loved them!
Dinner with some of the fam.
Cole swimming in his pool with his 2 best friends Evan and Josh.

Cole getting ready for the 24th of July Parade.

Bountiful's pool. Cole was so excited to take Korver down all the slides and show him everything! It was cute to watch them have so much fun together.

Bear Lake! This resort was awesome! Right out our door we had the beach, swimming pools, play grounds, climbing walls, miniature golf, and of course wave runners on the lake. It was a blast!

Mom my pants are falling down don't take a picture!!

Neil giving all the kids rides on the Merry-Go Round.

Cole's first time miniature golfing.
Strawberry Reservoir
Neil and Cole went fishing with his dad and their fishing boat and caught lots of fish. Cole loved the boat.

But what was really cool is they caught like 60 craw fish.
And I insanely let them bring them home and help cook them alive!! It was actually a lot of fun. A lot of work for just a little bit of meat though.
And Cole can now ride a bike with no training wheels!

I can't believe the summer is gone. I tried to plan at least 1 fun thing every week but it didn't always happen as I got pretty sick the end of June all through July and part of August. And if you didn't guess from that and if you don't already know I am expecting. I'm due Feb. 16th and I find out what we're having on the 29th of Sept. I was actually pregnant when I did my triathlon. Ha.... who knew?
